Hello there! I am hiding behind this scribble. I started taking pictures aged 10 with a Kodak 33 instamatic. It had a big sunny and a cloudy dial, i just loved taking pictures.
I started my career shooting football and have been so fortunate to of travelled the world photographing four World Cup football tournaments and after shooting the 1985 Live Aid concert, i was led into the world of entertainment and to photograph some rather famous people for my picture agency All Action, which the fantastic Press Associaton acquired in 2005, setting me free to be Duncan the photographer again.

However, four years ago there was one day that literally changed my life forever. This was the day i walked through the doors of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London.
Photographing the wonderful and incredible children and nurses of this amazing hospital made me realise we have to really treasure life and that my true passion in life is my love of people and making them laugh out loud to capture that precise moment of joy we all have inside our hearts.
I just love everyday, ordinary people and listening to stories about their lives. Everyday i say "Hello there! How are you?" to a fabulous oldie and they open up like a huge sunflower and their hearts glow. Remember our older generation are a huge library of wisdom and of life's experiences, they are our walking hidden treasure chests and we all see them daily. So folks, say "Hello!" to an oldie and take their picture laughing and it will make your day too.
